Lower Delmarva Roots lives again

LOWER-DELMARVA-ROOTS-L continues the tradition of the old Lower Delmarva Roots mailing list: a place to ask questions, compare research, share discoveries, discuss families and communities, and help one another with genealogy and local history on the Lower Delmarva Peninsula.

The list covers Lower Delmarva research in Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. Subscribers may receive each posting individually or choose digest delivery.

Choose how you receive the list

Individual messages (-L)

Receive each message as it is posted. This is the best choice if you like active, real-time discussion and want replies to arrive as conversations happen.

Periodic digest (-D)

Receive list messages bundled together in a digest rather than one at a time. You can switch between individual and digest delivery later.

Public archive notice: Messages posted to LOWER-DELMARVA-ROOTS-L are publicly archived and may be indexed by search engines. Please do not post private or sensitive information about living individuals. Browse the list archives.

Change delivery options or unsubscribe

Enter the email address under which you are subscribed. Mailman will take you to your subscriber options page, where you can switch between individual and digest delivery, temporarily suspend delivery, request a password reminder, or unsubscribe.

Don’t know your mailing-list password? That’s okay. If you did not choose a password when you subscribed, Mailman created one for you. On your subscriber options page, you can ask Mailman to email your password to your subscribed address. You’ll need that password to change your delivery settings or unsubscribe.

Changing your email address? The simplest and cleanest method is to unsubscribe the old address, then subscribe again using the new address. This prevents old and new addresses from becoming tangled as separate subscriptions.
