The Delmarva Surnames Project is a surname registry for families connected to the Delmarva Peninsula — Delaware, Maryland’s Eastern Shore, and Virginia’s Eastern Shore. It first went online in 1997 and was once one of the busiest features on Handley’s Eastern Shore Genealogy.
Now it is back with a modern database, easier updating, email verification, linked spelling variants, and preservation of the surviving legacy registry.
