Privacy reminder: the archives are public and may be indexed by search engines. Messages should not contain private or sensitive information about living individuals.
A research resource that grows over time
One of the great strengths of the original Lower Delmarva Roots list was the knowledge accumulated in years of questions, answers, corrections, family connections, and local-history discussions. The revived list is being archived for the same reason: a useful answer shared today may help another researcher years from now.
