Help build Accomack
USGenWeb sites have always grown because researchers shared what they had. Useful contributions include cemetery transcriptions, Bible records, marriage notices, wills or deed abstracts, church records, school material, old photographs, postcards, maps, family letters, and corrections to material already online.
Send a contribution
Email the coordinator . Please tell me what the item is, where it came from, and whether you created the transcription or image yourself.
Volunteer for lookups
If you own an Accomack reference book or regularly visit a repository and are willing to do an occasional reasonable lookup, let me know. Several titles on the old site have no current volunteer.
A couple of ground rules
- Please do not submit private information about living people.
- For transcriptions, include a useful source citation whenever possible.
- For photographs, tell me who owns the original image and whether I may post it.
- Corrections are welcome — especially when they come with a record that shows why something should be changed.
